November 12, 2008

On November 12, 2008, Tom Pletsch and Peter McDermott met with the United States Postal Service, and NISH representatives at the USPS headquarters in Rosslyn, Virginia for the first Quarter of 2009 stamp product and quality review.

Stamp games and puzzles are there to educate kids on history through stamps and teach children about stamp collecting. Computers are also setup with a program where the kids can design their own stamps for fun. Local schools use this show as an opportunity for a fun and educational field trip for the classroom.

The USPS was happy to report that they are increasing the initial order quantity of the 2009 Inaugural Product due to the popularity of the President – Elect Barack Obama.

Thanks to everyone at MDI for their hard work in 2008, the USPS greatly appreciates MDI’s commitment to quality and on time delivery.
