MDI adds 160 jobs at locations across Minnesota

MDI has begun filling 160 positions across all its locations (Grand Rapids, Cohasset, Hibbing, and Minneapolis) due to a surge in postal service orders coupled with a steady increase in commercial sales.

MDI manufactures standard and custom corrugated plastic and provides assembly and environmental services. The organization currently employs more than 400 people, with nearly half of its workforce comprised of people with disabilities....

Pints with a Purpose, a MDI fundraising event, took place on a beautiful spring night bringing in over 90 guests. Attendees enjoyed Urban Growler beer and tacos, all with a purpose - career advancement for people with disabilities.

MDI has elected new officers to its Board of Directors, naming Ellen Hoeg to succeed Keith Olson as independent Chair; along with electing Jill Hesselroth to Vice-Chair, effective January 25, 2018.
