Sheets & Rolls

Corrugated Plastic Sheets & Rolls

Plastics

More Versatile Than Cardboard. More Affordable Than Rigid Plastic.

Cardboard absorbs moisture, degrades in cold storage, and falls apart under real handling conditions. Tarp is heavy, hard to cut, and doesn’t protect surfaces. Neither is the right answer for construction protection, dunnage, or agricultural wrapping.

MDI’s corrugated plastic sheets and rolls occupy the practical middle ground. Tougher than cardboard — resistant to moisture, chemicals, and impact. More flexible and cost-effective than rigid plastic panels. Available in single-faced and double-faced configurations from high-quality polyethylene, cut to your exact dimensions. When surface protection matters more than rigidity, our polyethylene rolls unroll flat, cut clean, and stay flexible even in cold-storage conditions.

MDI has manufactured corrugated plastic products in Minnesota since 1964. Our sheets and rolls are used on construction sites, manufacturing floors, agricultural operations, and distribution facilities across the country. If you’re still buying cardboard or tarp, you’re paying more than you need to. For teams standardizing on a single dunnage material, our polypropylene plastic sheets offer the impact resistance and reusability that pay back over dozens of trips instead of a single one.

Where MDI Sheets & Rolls Work

null

Construction Surface Protection

Double-faced sheets and rolls protect floors, countertops, walls, and carpet during construction and renovation. Tougher than cardboard, more cost-effective than rigid panels, and reusable across multiple job sites.
null

Dunnage & Parts Protection

Cut corrugated plastic sheets to size for use as dunnage dividers, partitions, and inserts in shipping containers and totes. Cut-to-size polypropylene plastic sheets work especially well as returnable dunnage in closed-loop supply chains.
null

Tree Wrap & Agricultural Protection

Single-faced rolls are widely used to protect young trees from pesticide exposure, rodent damage, and extreme weather. Flexible enough to wrap around any trunk diameter. Reusable season after season. Growers frequently spec our polyethylene rolls for tree wrap because they stay pliable through freeze-thaw cycles.
null

Cable, Wire & Pipe Protection

Wrap large reels of cable, wire, and pipe in corrugated plastic rolls for shipment. More practical than cardboard for oversized loads — flexible, weather-resistant, and easy to secure.
null

Packaging Inserts & Dividers

Cut sheets to custom dimensions for use as packaging inserts, layer pads, and dividers inside boxes and totes. Provides a rigid, moisture-resistant barrier between products.
null

Commercial Printing & Signage

Double-faced sheets provide a smooth, printable surface for yard signs, real estate signage, and temporary displays. Lightweight and weather-resistant. For sign shops running high volumes, our polypropylene sheets accept UV and screen inks cleanly and hold color outdoors through a full campaign season.

Find Your Perfect Sheets & Rolls

MDI offers a broad range of standard corrugated plastic sheets and rolls. Below is a selection of our quick-turn standard products.

Why Buyers Choose MDI for Sheets & Rolls

MDI is a manufacturer, not a distributor. That distinction matters when you need a non-standard width, a custom length, or a quick turnaround on a large order.

When you order from MDI, you’re working directly with the engineering and production team. No middleman. No markup. No waiting on a distributor to check stock.

MDI has been manufacturing corrugated plastic products in Minnesota since 1964. Our workforce — the majority of whom are people with disabilities — brings precision and consistency to every product we build. That mission is built into our quality standards, not separate from them.

Need a Custom Width, Length or Weight?

MDI cuts corrugated plastic sheets and rolls to your exact specifications. Dimensions, facing preference, weight, color — we handle it all in-house.

Our process is straightforward: tell us what you need, we quote it fast, and move to production. No offshore delays. No long lead times.

FAQs

Single-faced material has one flat outer layer bonded to a corrugated (fluted) inner layer, ideal for surface protection, wrapping, and applications needing flexibility. Double-faced material has flat layers on both sides of the corrugated core, giving greater rigidity and impact resistance for dunnage, dividers, boxes, and structural applications.

We stock a range of standard widths and gauges and can custom-cut polypropylene sheets to specific dimensions. Roll lengths, sheet dimensions, and material thickness are all available to spec. If a stock size doesn’t fit your application, our team will quote a custom cut.

Yes. Our polypropylene rolls, along with our polyethylene rolls, are inherently moisture resistant and stand up well to most common industrial chemicals and washdowns. Both materials also resist mold, mildew, and insects, making them well suited to reusable, long service life applications.

Common uses include surface protection on construction sites (floors, walls, countertops), transportation dunnage, dividers and partitions inside totes and boxes, coil and cable protection, signage and displays, and raw polypropylene plastic sheets material for custom-fabricated containers and inserts.

Yes. Our fabrication team uses CNC die cutting, precision cutting, and sonic welding to turn sheets and rolls into finished parts: dunnage, dividers, packaging inserts, custom boxes, and specialty components. Rapid prototyping is available for design validation before production tooling.

Corrugated plastic, including Polyethylene rolls, outperforms cardboard on almost every reusable use metric. It doesn’t absorb moisture, resists chemicals and impacts, tolerates repeated cleaning, and lasts through many use cycles. On a per-use basis, it is typically far more cost-effective than cardboard for any application that isn’t strictly single-use.

Yes. We manufacture and stock both polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) sheets and rolls. PP typically offers better chemical resistance and higher temperature tolerance. PE is more flexible and impact-resilient at lower temperatures. Our team can match the right material to your application.

Contact our team with your target dimensions, gauge, material preference, and estimated annual volume, and we’ll quote the project. Samples are available for evaluation on qualifying opportunities. Start with our plastics quote form.
