MDI Awarded $25,000 to Expand Workforce Development Program

MDI, a non-profit organization committed to an inclusive work environment for individuals with disabilities, has been awarded $25,000 from the Minnesota State Division of Academic and Student Affairs. MDI Honors Hibbing Graduates of In-House Training Program

A celebration was held at the MDI facility in Hibbing on Friday, July 14, to recognize nine MDI employees for their completion of Work Skills 101, an in-house training program developed and launched by MDI in April 2017. Tracy Promoted to Operations Manager Upon Retirement of Flesland

This month Gary Flesland retired as Operations Manager of the Hibbing facility after 44 years of service to MDI, effective July 7. Andy Tracy was promoted to the Hibbing Operations Manager position, filling the vacancy created by Flesland.
